Yield: 30 to 35 bars

These Rocky Road Krispies Bars are super simple to make and require no oven time. They’re a family favorite, perfect for the holidays or any time of year!

Ingredients

12 oz. chocolate almond bark
4 oz. semi sweet chocolate (I use Guittard
1 c. creamy peanut butter
⅔ c. cashews
⅔ c. almonds
⅔ c. dry roasted peanuts
3 c. miniature marshmallows
3.5 c. Rice Krispies cereal

Instructions

In a large microwave safe bowl, melt chocolates and peanut butter together, using gentle heat and stirring regularly. Do not scorch.
Fold in the nuts, followed by the marshmallows and cereal. Spread in a 9" x 13" cake pan, pressing the mixture in gently but firmly. Let cool completely and then cut into bars. Or drop mixture by spoonfuls onto wax paper and let cool, for more of a cookie look.
These bars freeze extremely well. Just store in an airtight container, with layers of bars separated by wax paper.

Notes

Adapted slightly from my mother in-law’s recipe box.
